In 1987 the Pressure Pipe Plant (ZNT) was put into operation. The plant produced reinforced concrete pressure pipes - 500 mm to 1400 mm in diameter and 5,000 mm in length. In 1987, when the law on the lease came into force, the company was one of the first to move to self-supporting work under the terms of the lease. From 1987 to 1991 the post of director of the plant was held by Kuziev Dilmurat Pirmukhamedovich.
In 1991, when the law "On Privatisation" came into force, the plant was one of the first in Kazakhstan to be transformed into a joint stock company with a private form of ownership and Kuziyev D.P. was elected President of JSC "BENT".
In 1993, in the difficult years of transition to a market economy, the company's management made an extraordinary decision - to reorient the plant to the production of reinforced concrete sleepers using the German technology "FOSSLO". BENT LLP is the author of implementation of Skl 14 rail fastenings in Kazakhstani railways (one of the authors of the patent for FOSSLO rail fastenings in the Republic of Kazakhstan is Mr. Kuziev, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of BENT LLP). Today, this strategic decision has allowed the company not only to retain its team, but also to become one of the main suppliers of reinforced concrete sleepers for the railway system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Today, Firma BENT LLP is the largest plant in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the production of reinforced concrete sleepers. The main customer of Firma BENT LLP is National Company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC, as well as its general contractors.
Our enterprise is unique and unparalleled in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as we are the only one producing both reinforced concrete sleepers and our own patented rail fasteners. In addition, we are the only plant in the country which produces patented bridge and shuttle sleepers, as well as reinforced concrete sleepers "P50". Our plant is also one of only two plants producing high-reliability "B50" concrete sleepers that have been installed on the Shiderty - Ekibastuz section of Pavlodar Region and commissioned by JSC TAX LAW KTZ.
Today Firma BENT LLP, with its own modern infrastructure, has sufficient production capacity to produce at least 800,000 concrete sleepers per year, including those with elastic rail fastenings.
Our enterprise is almost annually the winner of the 'Best Goods' competition and has an 'Altyn Sapa' award as the best import-substituting enterprise.
The plant operates in the suburbs of Almaty. The total area of the plant is 5.7 hectares. The plant employs 650 people in two shifts: from 08:00-17:00 - in the first shift; from 23:00-07:00 - in the second shift.
